My Trade Results — Real Money, Real Trades, Real Results
This is where I show you exactly how my options trading is going — every month, in real money, on a real account. No cherry-picking, no hiding the red months. If you want to know whether selling premium actually works over time, this is the honest version.
Most people land here first, and I get why. Before you trust anyone’s method, you want to see their results. So here they are.
Results — current and previous month — last updated 8 June 2026
- Current month — June 2026: Realised P/L +342 USD —> +0.46 % on a 72,000 USD account
- Previous month — May 2026: Realised P/L −171 USD —> −0.23 % on a 72,000 USD account
As always, these are the results of the positions I closed in each month. Open trades (unrealised P/L) are not counted. Some months are green, some are red, I show both, because the losing months are part of the honest picture.

The number that makes results honest — my trading capital
Here is something most “results” pages conveniently leave out: the size of the account behind the numbers.
A +342 USD month means nothing on its own. On a 5,000 USD account it would be excellent. On a 500,000 USD account it would be almost nothing. Results without capital context are just noise — so I’ll always give you both.
My options trading capital is currently around 72,000 USD (held partly in euro, partly in dollars). It has grown gradually over the last few years as I’ve reinvested profits and added to the account. When I quote a monthly return as a percentage, that is the denominator I’m using.
This is the same principle the spreadsheets are built on: you can’t manage what you don’t measure, and you can’t measure a return without knowing the capital at risk.
How I count my results (my method, in plain terms)
I keep this simple and consistent so the numbers mean the same thing every month:
- Closed positions only. A month’s result is the sum of the trades I closed that month. Open positions and their floating profit/loss are not counted until they’re actually closed.
- Realised P/L and return on capital. Since I trade the US market, I report the dollar result and what it represents as a percentage of my trading capital.
- Updated regularly. I refresh the headline numbers through the month and post the full report once the month closes.
If you want to see the framework behind the trades themselves — how I pick strikes, set targets, and manage positions — I’ve written it all up here: My approach to a methodic options trading strategy and profit goals. And if you want the exact way I calculate returns: How I calculate the return on my option trades.
Why I show you the losing months too
I’ll be straight: it would be easy to only post the green months and quietly skip the red ones. Plenty of people do exactly that.
I don’t, for one simple reason — hiding a bad month would only deceive me. I’m on a building journey, learning every day, trying to become as consistent and profitable as I realistically can. Pretending I never have a down month wouldn’t make me a better trader; it would just make my own track record useless to me.
So you get the good, the bad, and occasionally the ugly. That transparency is the whole point of this page, and it’s the thing I’d want to see from anyone I was learning from.
The full track record

This chart allows you to explore my trading evolution and growth, gaining insights into the fluctuations and trends of my financial options trading journey. The profits (or losses) mentioned are always the results of the trades closed in that month. The running P/L of open trades (unrealised P/L) are not taken into account in the monthly total.
It is obvious that the trade results mean nothing, without knowing the trading capital involved. I am completely transparent in the size of the account that I have to trade options. The size of the trading account went gradually up from 49,000 USD to 72,000 USD over the last 3 and a half years.
The Graphic “TOCF Results” above, with the monthly P/L results, will be updated regularly to give the first information about our monthly results.
